Medical Assistant

About the role

One Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Washington clinic team, working in both Stevenson and White Salmon, Washington. We welcome both certified and non-certified candidates.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week, with potential weekend opportunities after a 90-day training period.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake and processing
• Assisting with treatments and procedures
• Patient instruction and education
• Facilitate patient triage as a communication liaison between patient, medical provider, and licensed nurse
• Quality control checks and performance improvement
• Supply stocking and equipment sterilization
• Patient records management
• Patient scheduling

Requirements

• 3-6 months experience working in a medical environment
• High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bilingual: English/Spanish
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records

Pay

Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Weekend Differential: This position receives base hourly pay along with an extra $10.00 for each hour worked on weekends.
• Mileage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
