About the role
New England Orthopedic Surgeons (NEOS), a leading physician-owned orthopedic practice in Springfield, MA, is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Support providers during patient exams, procedures, and daily clinic flow
- Record vital signs, prepare injections, and provide patient instructions
- Document patient information in the EMR accurately and efficiently
- Assist with scheduling, calls, and patient message triage
- Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready for use
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
- 2+ years of clinical experience (orthopedic experience a plus)
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena a plus) and routine clinical procedures
- CMA or RMA certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Schedule
Monday to Friday, daytime hours
No nights, weekends, or major holidays
Pay
$20-27 an hour (based on experience)
