Medical Assistant

NEPA Community Health Care is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join our care team in Hallstead.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts, working Tuesday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by effectively managing patient flow throughout the office visit
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Work directly with primary and behavioral health care providers to room patients, collect preliminary visit information, and test samples
• Maintain patient records
• Communicate with patients regarding basic medical procedures
• Assist in basic examinations
• Demonstrate a well-developed understanding of medical terminology
• Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing personalized, compassionate service
