Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid healthcare providers with patient care
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
• Take patient vitals and record medical history
• Provide support to patients and their families
• Aid with scheduling patient appointments
• Learn about insurances and requirements
• Take detailed patient messages for providers to address concerns

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Experience in nephrology is a plus
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
