Medical Assistant
About the role
Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient vascular and vein clinic environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for Medical Assistants who enjoy hands-on patient care, procedural support, and working in a collaborative outpatient setting with opportunities for long-term growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Supporting physicians during in-office procedures and treatments
- Preparing exam and procedure rooms for daily clinic flow
- Aiding with patient intake, triage, and EMR documentation
- Educating patients before and after procedures
- Collaborating with front desk and clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintaining clinic organization, cleanliness, and inventory throughout the day
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Aid providers during in-office procedures and treatments
- Document patient information accurately within the EMR system
- Obtain patient histories and communicate findings to providers
- Review daily schedules and patient charts prior to appointments
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure instructions
- Maintain clinical inventory and stocked exam rooms
- Support clinic flow and operational efficiency throughout the day
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during every interaction

- Team-oriented attitude with a proactive and flexible approach to clinic needs
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification or formal Medical Assistant training preferred
- CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent certifications strongly encouraged
- Understanding of medical terminology, patient intake, vitals, and clinical workflows
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic, specialty practice, urgent care, surgical, vascular, cosmetic, or procedural setting strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Frequent use of computers, clinical equipment, and EMR systems
