Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals
- Enter patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
- Set up and assist with office procedures
- Chaperone providers during patient examination
- Take pre-op and post-op photos of patients
- Maintain surgical instruments and transport them to Central Sterile (CSS)
- Process surgical specimens and transport them to Pathology
- Maintain and stock exam rooms
- Order clinical supplies
- Complete FMLA and Disability forms
- Clean and reset exam rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GEDA, minimum of one year experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred
- Specific Requirements: Certification Requirements: CPR-preferred, Age Specific Care Provided For: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Travel to all satellite locations required
