Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant I assists the MD/NP/PA in performing procedures, operates, maintains, and calibrates all equipment, and provides age-specific care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Requirements
- CPR-preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Meditech (if applicable), and Epic (if applicable)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when necessary
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with various personnel
- Flexibility and personal integrity
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- May be required to travel to satellite offices
Qualifications
- License Requirements: N/A
- Certification Requirements: CPR-preferred
