Job Summary
To assist the department with Clerical duties and posting OR cases. Routine contacts include patients, physicians, hospital staff, outside health agencies, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe physician orders
- Complete the admission medical record process
- Ensure the schedule runs smoothly
- Address issues related to the schedule
Qualifications
- Certificate from Medical Assistant program
- One (1) year of experience as a medical assistant in a physician office setting preferred
