Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant program (Associate Degree/Ladder Curriculum). In the process of receiving American Medical Technologists Registry.
- Training and Experience: Minimum of six months experience as a Medical Assistant; one year in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- Current BLS Certification required through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

- Ability to perform: Must be able to work under stressful circumstances.
- Potential exposure to hazardous substances, cytotoxic agents.
- Variable work hours including weekends and holidays.
- Sustained standing and walking.
- Heavy lifting and repositioning patients.
- Encounter exposure to infectious diseases.
