About the role
Main Line Healthcare is a dynamic network of primary care and specialty care physicians, including cardiology, family medicine, endocrinology, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, and pediatric practices. As a Medical Assistant in our Aston, PA primary care practice, you will work closely with both patients and healthcare providers, assisting with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and more. You will help maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate the needs of the care team.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and practitioners with routine medical procedures
- Perform blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs
- Maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate provider needs
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology
- One year of experience preferred
- Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred
- Knowledge of third-party payors preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date
- Ability to wear a respirator as part of job requirements

Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: rotating shifts of either 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
