Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Front and back-office duties including patient registration, insurance verification, vital signs, patient intake, and exam preparation.
• Performing clinical tasks such as ECG, specimen collection, venipuncture, injections, charting, and supply management.
• Providing patient education, assisting with records, scheduling, medication refills, and resolving minor issues.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification (within 30 days).
• Proficiency in medical systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance.
• Fluency in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese a plus.
