Medical Assistant

Assisting providers with patient care and organizational tasks, including chart management. May be assigned to a specific specialty to assist with patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completed training in Medical Assistant program and graduated course
• One to two years as a medical assistant preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner
• Strict adherence to policies and procedures, specifically including confidentiality
• Proficient in Word and Excel programs
• Ability to maintain an Excel spreadsheet for tracking
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• NCCT Medical Assistant certification preferred
