At Konza Prairie Community Health Center, our Medical Assistants are at the heart of care—supporting providers, improving access, and creating a positive patient experience. We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team!

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories
• Auxiliary support for providers during exams, procedures, and treatments
• Point-of-care testing and specimen collection
• Administration of injections and medications as ordered
• Triage patient calls (urgent vs. non-urgent needs)
• Congestion of referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups
• Communication with pharmacies for prescriptions and refills
• Documentation in the EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks)
• Education of patients on care plans and next steps

Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience
• Current vaccinations per ACIP guidelines
• Ability to travel between Konza clinics

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• Experience in primary care, family practice, or FQHC
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
