Medical Assistant

About the role

The Medical Assistant, under the direction of a physician, performs a wide variety of duties related to patient care in the practice. This position can be reassigned to any location within OGH/BRMC offices as may be required to meet business needs.

Education and credentials

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved Medical Assisting Program or Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred

Experience

• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a medical office setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Shift: 8-5
• Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: 75.00
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No
• On Call Required: No

Pay

Salary Range: $16.54 - $22.74. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
