About the role

We're looking for a caring, driven Medical Assistant (full time) to join our clinical team in Hoffman Estates. This role thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and is passionate about women's health and the patients we serve.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Weekend rotation about once per month
• Primary location: Hoffman Estates, with some floating to Northbrook

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff across all phases of infertility treatment
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Support physicians during procedures
• Manage patient communication and telephone triage
• Coordinate procedure scheduling and room preparation
• Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and the lab
• Review lab results with physicians and follow up with patients
• Prepare treatment documents and complete insurance health forms
• Support patient education on fertility care and surgical procedures
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR
• Develop a working knowledge of ultrasound equipment

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a medical setting (women's health experience a plus)
• Phlebotomy certification preferred — training provided if needed
• Associate degree in a medical field preferred
• Comfort with EMR systems and basic computer skills
• Calm, empathetic presence and strong communication skills
• Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and travel to nearby clinic locations

Pay

$20 – $24/hour, based on experience
