Primary Responsibilities: As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients. Verifies patient information, history taking, confirmation of current condition. Prepares patients for exam by obtaining blood pressure, weight and patient history summary Clean and prepare exam rooms. Counsels patients on physician orders. Updates patient information in our EMR system To be crosstrained and back up to coworkers Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant High School Graduate Strong communication skills, written and verbal Bilingual (English and Spanish) Exceptional attention to detail Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment Team player Personable Consistently positive attitude IOH is an equal opportunity employer.
