Duties
- Screen patients while performing and recording vital signs
- Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality
- Disinfect and clean room after each patient
- Explains treatment to patients as needed
- Change sutures and dressings as needed
- Auxiliary with physician during exam
- Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and acts as operator for the Hospital
- Greet and interact with patients in a friendly and polite manner
- Perform other administrative duties as needed such as register patients and schedule appointments
- Ability to multitask and move between responsibilities in fluid manner
- Adhere to Jcaho hospital standards and PolicyStat policies
- Monitor supplies and inventory as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degrees strongly preferred in the areas related to Healthcare and Biology
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to show superior patient care
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and drive
- Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none
- Exudes respect and flexibility to impact the workplace in a positive manner
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
