About the role
Hillside Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their growing clinical team. This role supports providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and ensures an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals and medical histories
- Document patient information in EMR
- Auxiliary support for providers with exams and procedures
- Perform EKGs and basic clinical procedures
- Administer medications per provider order and training
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
- Support patient flow and front office operations when needed
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- A current Medical Assistant certification is required
- One to three years of clinical experience is preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
