About the role
We’re excited to offer a $1,000 hiring bonus for full-time Medical Assistants at HVMG Trinity, Chippewa Township.
Responsibilities
- Rooms patients
- Collections vital signs
- Reviews patient medication list and medical/social history
- Collections specimens and performs basic laboratory tests
- Administers injections and medications as directed by provider
- Performs other clinical tasks
- Orders supplies
- Updates/maintains medical records
- Obtains referrals/authorizations
- Schedules appointments
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Computer experience
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program preferred
- One-year medical assisting experience minimum
- Proficient in venipuncture
