About the role
We’re offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants. The office location is HV Chippewa Internal Medicine, with work hours primarily during daylight hours, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Clinical tasks include collecting vital signs and patient history, collecting specimens and performing basic laboratory tests, and administering injections and medications as directed by the provider. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating and maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals and authorizations, and scheduling appointments.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Computer experience
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program (preferred)
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience (preferred)
- Proficient in venipuncture (preferred)
