ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the Providers with procedures and patient care during office visits.
- Collects patient history, reason for visit, and vital signs and communicates the same to the Provider.
- Collects and processes lab work, including blood, urine, stool and cultures while ensuring accuracy.
- Administers drug screenings, including urine, hair, and blood.
- Ensures collections comply with DOT guidelines.
- Performs in-house procedures such as EKG, audio, PFT, A1c, UA, etc.
- Collects vitals, such as height, weight, BP, pulse, and 02 Sats.
- Administers vaccines as directed and documents appropriately.
- Performs general office duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, filing, and cleaning.
- Contacts patients three days after the office visit.
- Learns and conducts in-services and procedures related to job responsibilities.
- Assists with opening and closing procedures.
- Participates in monthly staff meetings and one-on-one meetings with Office Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Identifies and submits ideas for improvement.
- Addresses patient issues or complaints promptly and effectively, escalating as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Phlebotomist (CPT) certification.
- CPR certification.
- Two plus years' experience in a multi-site medical setting, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong desire to lead and drive success.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

- Accomplishes all tasks as assigned or requested by Manager.
