Medical Assistant
Duties
- Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow
- Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation
- Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider
- Administer treatments and procedures in accordance with physician's orders
- Provide patient education and personal patient care to ensure comfort and well-being
- Process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocol
- Initiate cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years' experience as Medical Assistant preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred
