About the role
Assist medical and nursing staff in providing an excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily.
- Perform point of care testing.
- Record vital signs and assessment flow sheets.
- Maintain detailed records in EMR systems.
- Assist with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.
- Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues.
- Assist with observing medications as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CPR, First Aid/AED certification (provided by Freeman, if needed) required.
- CNA or MA certification preferred.
