Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Room and greet patients, document vital information, obtain intake information
• Give report to dermatology provider, accompany provider in room, scribe information
• Prepare for procedures, assist as necessary
• Draw blood, suture removals, treat patients for phototherapy, sterilize instruments, stock exam rooms
• Address phone notes and prior authorizations, promote friendly and efficient environment
• Perform surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, electrodessication and curettage, phototherapy, injections, patch testing, blue light therapy
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments following company protocols and physician schedules
• Record required information on patient logs, adhere to compliance and complete training
• Perform other related duties as assigned
