Medical Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care
• Maintain smooth clinic operations
• Ensure accurate medical records
• Manage patient flow from check in to patient care area
• Answer phones and greet, check in, and direct patients and visitors
• Check and document vital signs and escort patients to exam rooms
• Aid physicians and nursing staff during clinical procedures
• Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture/blood draws), order tests, and prepare specimens for send-out
• Maintain accurate patient records and accounts
• Manage inventory of office and clinical supplies and reorder as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office required
• Phlebotomy skills required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Adherence to all policies, HIPAA regulations, safety, and sanitation standards
• Certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
• Infertility or OB/GYN office experience preferred

Pay

A competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position based in St. Louis, MO. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with one weekend shift in the OR per month (Saturday or Sunday).
