Job Summary
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties. General Accountabilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations.
- Obtain patient's medical history.
- Record vital statistics and test results in patient medical file.
- Remove sutures, change dressings.
- Stock exam rooms.
- Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments and prepare surgical trays.
- Properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
- Assists physicians during examination and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Apple iPads, and must type 45 WPM
- BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bilingual Spanish or Serbian a plus
