Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and adhere to specific clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance by all involved staff and participants.
- Affiliate in recruiting, screening, and enrolling research subjects according to study inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Assist with vital signs, EKGs, injections, and medication administration as required by protocol.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms for research visits, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for procedures.
- Extract and verify data from medical records to accurately complete case report forms (CRFs).
- Collaborate with research nurses and principal investigators to verify participant eligibility.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or higher.
- Medical assistant license or certification required.
- Medical assistant relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a clinical research or medical office setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and basic clinical research procedures.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
