About the role
Edison Chouest Offshore is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Take and record patient history and personal information.
- Measure vital signs.
- Answer telephone and schedule appointments.
- Check in patients and prepare them for appointments with the physician/provider.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
- Collect drug screens, perform EKGs, spirometry testing and hearing testing.
Requirements
- Certified medical assistant.
- Ability to clearly communicate medical information and perform job duties in a professional, courteous and confidential manner.
- Spanish speaking skills preferred but not required.
