Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform patient intake, including medical history, vitals, and chief complaints
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform specimen collection, including nasal/throat swabs and other point-of-care tests
- Administer basic clinical tasks within scope (e.g., vitals)
- Accurately document patient information in EMR systems
- Label, document, and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols
- Ensure clinical areas are clean, stocked, and organized
- Support patient flow to maintain efficient and timely care
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not required; candidates without experience will receive full training and support to succeed in the role
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience preferred
- Urgent care or primary care experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of clinical or patient-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using EMR systems, tablets, and digital documentation tools
- Comfortable working in an outdoor/mobile clinical setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and performance. Benefits include bonus and incentive opportunities, clear growth and promotion pathways, health insurance, paid sick leave, and 401(k) with company matching.
Schedule
The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, day shifts, with weekend availability required. We provide all necessary PPE and follow CDC and CDPH safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
