Job Title: Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist Department: Prime Meridian Health Clinics (Pleasant Grove, UT) Status: Full-time Job Description We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Medical Assistant with advanced phlebotomy experience to join our primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing exceptional, compassionate patient care. This position will support providers with clinical procedures, patient care, laboratory services, and day-to-day clinic operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of proficiency in venipuncture and specimen collection. Job Responsibilities Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and other clinical informationAssist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatmentsPerform venipuncture and blood draws with a high level of proficiency and patient comfortCollect, label, process, and prepare laboratory specimens for testing and shipmentPerform point-of-care testing and other laboratory procedures as directedPrepare and administer medications and injections within the scope of training and applicable regulationsPerform EKGs and other clinical testing as neededMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordAssist with patient follow-up, care coordination, and communication as directed by providersMaintain appropriate infection control, safety, and OSHA standardsProvide exceptional customer service and create a positive, welcoming experience for patientsAssist with clinic events and other patient-focused activitiesWork collaboratively with providers, Medical Assistants, and administrative staff to maintain efficient clinic operationsPerform other responsibilities as directed Job Qualifications 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferredStrong phlebotomy experience required; advanced venipuncture skills strongly preferredExperience confidently drawing blood from a variety of patients and handling difficult drawsMedical Assistant certification preferredPhlebotomy certification preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting education preferredFluent in EnglishSpanish-speaking preferredStrong knowledge of clinical procedures, laboratory specimen handling, and infection controlExcellent patient-care and communication skillsAble to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a teamHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilitiesProfessional, positive, and compassionate attitudeComfortable working in a membership-based primary care environmentAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements About Prime Meridian Health Clinics Prime Meridian Health Clinics is an integrative medicine group committed to providing a patient-centric healthcare experience through a subscription-based model.
