The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. They perform both administrative tasks and patient care duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Documenting patient symptoms in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Administering injections
- Performing diagnostic tests
- Collecting specimens and drawing blood
- Maintaining examination rooms
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
- 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
- Phlebotomy experience
- CPR certified
- This role is patient-facing and part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program
- Preferred: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
- Value-Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year
