Medical Assistant
About the role
The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. They perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including computations, reporting to the Center Administrator, and performing clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms.

Requirements
- Use skills to make an impact
- Successful completion of MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
- 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
- Phlebotomy experience
- CPR Certified
- This role is considered patient facing and part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certified or Registered (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
- Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience

$43,000 - $56,200 per year

Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00
