Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. They perform both administrative tasks and patient care duties. Key responsibilities include:

1. Documenting patient symptoms in EMR
2. Taking and recording vital signs
3. Administering injections
4. Performing diagnostic tests
5. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
6. Maintaining examination rooms
7. Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
• 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Phlebotomy experience
• CPR Certified
• This role is patient-facing and part of the company's TB screening program
• PREFERRED: Certified or Registered (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• Value-Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Location: Onsite in South Beach, Florida

About the Role:

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's TB screening program. If selected, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year
