The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss symptoms and gather information for electronic medical records system
  • Take vital signs
  • Give injections
  • Perform diagnostic tests
  • Collect specimens
  • Draw blood
  • Sterilize and clean equipment
  • Maintain examination rooms
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses
  • Deliver direct patient care

Requirements

  • Successful completion of MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
  • 5+ years of experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certified
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Pay & Benefits

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 - $56,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
