Medical Assistant
About the role
CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in representing the agency, often serving as a first impression to individuals served and visitors to any office sites. They are trusted to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment and provide the best customer service possible. This is primarily an administrative position, however; our Medical Assistants do assist our Clinic team by collecting vitals and other tasks as needed.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $17 hourly - $23.00 hourly and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or similar
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
- Passion for providing an unparalleled customer service experience in a dynamic and diverse work environment
- Proficiency in word processing, data entry, and telephone skills
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives
- Ability to use discretion and judgement when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent certification that is nationally recognized (CMA, RMA, CNA)
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health and substance use disorders
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Bilingual
Skills
Reference and maintain up-to-date relevant agency resources including, but not limited to; calendars, office schedules, program directories, and team rosters
Perform other related duties as assigned
