Job Summary And Responsibilities As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) working at our Immanuel Campus in the Neurology Clinic off of 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Expectations Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. Job Requirements Required: Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA)Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association #kearneyclinic2025 Where You'll Work From primary to specialty care, as well as walk-in and virtual services, CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy.
