About the role
Become a part of our caring community. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be a vital link between our patients and providers, often the first clinical contact patients have during their visit.
Responsibilities
- Document patient symptoms and history in the EMR
- Take and record accurate vital signs
- Administer injections and medications
- Perform diagnostic tests
- Collect specimens and draw blood
- Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, well-organized exam room
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited MA training program, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential, or 5+ years of relevant experience with Provider approval
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience administering medication and vaccines
- Current CPR Certification
Nice to Have
- Active MA certification or Registration
- Value-based Care experience including familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Work Hours
Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

What You Bring
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$43,000 - $56,200 per year
