About the role
We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Medical Assistant. In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care, assist with procedures, and help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments and procedures
- Obtain and document patient histories, medications, and vital signs
- Auxiliary support during physician examinations and procedures
- Perform clinical testing and other patient care support duties as assigned
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling as needed
- Provide compassionate, professional communication to patients and team members
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred, but not always required depending on experience and state requirements
- Previous healthcare or clinical experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- A positive attitude and passion for patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification (depending on experience and state requirements)
- Previous healthcare or clinical experience
