About The Job
We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support day-to-day clinical and operational functions within a Health Center setting. In this role, you’ll assist providers with patient care, perform clinical and administrative duties, and help ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in through follow-up care. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service and high-quality care.
Schedule
This is a full-time, 40 hour work week opportunity. No nights, no weekends.
- Mon 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Tue 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wed 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Thu 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Fri 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience
- Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
- Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples
- Support front office and administrative clinic functions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and workflows
- Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care
- Exercise sound clinical judgment within scope of role
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current BLS Certification required
- One of the following qualifications:
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma/certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training
- Relevant military medic experience
- Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment
