About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support day-to-day clinical and operational functions within a Health Center setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience
  • Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples
  • Support front office and administrative clinic functions as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and workflows
  • Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment within scope of role

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A current BLS Certification
  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma/certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training
  • Relevant military medic experience
  • Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred

Qualifications

Pay

The pay for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40 hour work week position. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am to 6pm, Tuesday, Thursday 8a-5pm, and 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month (8am to 12pm).
