CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our West Chester, PA office. Please note that this will require traveling.
Responsibilities
- Work with an assigned physician daily
- Escort patients to the exam room
- Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
- Perform stress testing and EKGs
- Follow up on lab results
- Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
- Assist with appointment scheduling
- Review and prepare the next day's assignments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
- BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Pay
This role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus. If hired and assuming employment is in good standing, the bonus will be paid no later than 30 days following the start date. If employment is voluntarily terminated or terminated for cause within 6 months of hire, the full bonus must be repaid.
