Medical Assistant

About the role

BCCS is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Georgetown Location.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all BCCS policies and procedures.
• Maintains drug screens by clients.
• Completes appropriate documentation and forwards to various labs.
• Records Breathalyzer and Drug Screen results.
• Prepares and maintains lab areas.
• Aids in female client physical examinations when necessary.
• Captures and processes specimens.
• Prepares specimens for transport.
• Operates and maintains facility and equipment safely.
• Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Aids with intake and annual physical examination.

Requirements

• Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Full time position

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Program certificate/completion
• At least 1 year experience as CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

Pay and Benefits

• Starting at $17/hour
• Commensurate based on experience and education
