Medical Assistant
Bethany Medical, the largest independent established multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, is seeking a full-time Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our team in either our Winston-Salem or Kernersville locations.
About the role
The CMA/RMA will perform patient interviews, measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), perform phlebotomy, administer injections, conduct EKGs, and record information on patients' charts. The Medical Assistant prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations and works closely with providers and staff to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements
- One of the following certifications is required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire):
- CMA – Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)
- RMA – Registered Medical Assistant (AMT)
- NCMA – National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)
- ABR-OE – Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (AAMA)
- 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, or Internal Medicine is preferred
- Multi-lingual ability is a plus
