About the role

Bayview Physicians Group is a fast-growing, outpatient multi-specialty medical practice dedicated to creating strong doctor-patient relationships that enhance healthcare quality. The practice serves communities across the Hampton Roads region with over 900 team members.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family member
• Support providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks efficiently and accurately
• Create and maintain patient records, including medications, allergies, and medical history
• Administer medications and injections according to provider orders, adhering to documentation and safety protocols
• Answer phone calls, respond to patient needs, and route messages appropriately
• Help keep clinic operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Active and appropriate Medical Assistant or nursing certification/licensure required
• Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and nursing practices
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, high-energy environment
• Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed

Qualifications
