About the Role

Seeking someone to join a tightly knit small team doing office-based procedures. With a small team, everyone will share the workload to work towards the same shared goals:

You will be one of two Medical Assistants helping with outpatient interventional radiology procedures in an office setting. These are minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging. Patients go through standard pre-op checks/questions, then are taken to a procedure room for a 1-2 hour procedure and are then watched in post-op for about 30 minutes. One MA is in pre-op/post-op, and one is in the procedure room. MAs may rotate through both positions. There are 4-6 cases per day.

Responsibilities

• Charting
• Checking vitals
• Talking with patients
• Opening sterile supplies in the procedure room
• Keeping up with changing tasks and needs of the situation
• Taking ownership of tasks and understanding team dynamics to pitch in wherever needed

Requirements

• Experience working in a procedural setting
• Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks
• Valid and current Medical Assistant Certification

Schedule

2 days per month, 8am-5pm
