Serving Patients
- Serve as a patient advocate during patient exams and treatment.
- Recording medical history and confirming the purpose of the visit.
- Ensuring proper documentation is obtained prior to preparing the patient for treatment.
- Prepares patients for examination.
- Helps providers examine and treat patients.
Hands-On Duties
- Many hands-on elements such as blood draws, injections, wound care, and assisting during procedures are a requirement for this position.
Compliance and Safety
- Maintain accurate electronic charts in EHR.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and safe OSHA practices.
Supporting Providers
- Under provider direction, authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.
- Collecting, documenting, and delivering lab specimens.
Skills and Qualifications
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with staff and patients.

- Possess a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
