About the role
We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our Seattle location, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Checking in patients, recording vital signs, medication history, and allergy verification
- Performing preliminary tests based on patient symptoms and entering data into the EMR system
- Assisting providers with procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Educating patients on medications, disease management, environmental controls, and device use, documenting instructions in the EMR
- Managing inventory, restocking supplies, and maintaining sample medications and patient information materials
- Preparing exam rooms for subsequent patients
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CMA license and proof of certification or registration
- Completion of 7-hour AIDS/HIV training and CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience with EMR systems such as Athena, Epic, or GE
- Strong interpersonal, communication, multitasking, and team collaboration skills
- Experience in outpatient settings, preferably in allergy, asthma, ENT, pediatric, or dermatology clinics
