Medical Assistant
About the role
AFC Urgent Care Camas is a new clinic dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative environment. We value teamwork and continuous learning, offering in-house training for limited scope radiography.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers in procedures and provide exceptional care
- Triage patients, taking vitals and assessing needs
- Show clinical skills such as drawing blood, giving vaccines, and setting up EKGs
- Manage occupational health services and physical examinations
- Stock supplies, prep equipment, and maintain daily logs
- Communicate with patients, ensuring they have the information they need
- Support the front desk during check-ins and scheduling
- Be flexible and available for additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- WA State MA-C credential
- 1+ year experience in a medical office (urgent care experience is a plus)
- X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) is a plus
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to put patients first
- Detail-oriented and organized
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Pay
$22-28/hr (based on experience)
Schedule
Full-time: 36-40 hours/week. Schedules include:
- Full Half Team: Sun 9a–6p | Mon-Tue 8a–7p | Wed 8a–2:30p
- Back half Team: Wed 1:00p - 7p, Thurs-Fri 8a - 7p, Sat 9a - 6p
- One on-call shift per month (choose the day)
