What You’ll Do
- Room patients efficiently while verifying identity and preparing them for exams or treatments
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms throughout the day
- Accurately record vital signs, patient history, and visit details in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling
- Support providers and clinical staff with routine clinical and administrative tasks
- Follow established workflows and procedures to ensure smooth, efficient clinic flow
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver respectful, timely, and high-quality care
- Occasionally support additional clinic locations as scheduled in advance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a closely related clinical support role
- Confidence rooming patients in a primary care or outpatient setting
- Comfort using EMR systems for documentation and patient data management
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start
- One of the following:
- Medical Assistant diploma
- At least 1 year of CNA experience
- At least 6 months of EMT experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
Clear, professional communication skills
Reliability and flexibility for daytime schedules Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in primary care or outpatient settings
- Ability to step into different clinic environments when needed
- Strong organizational skills and pride in maintaining a clean clinical space
- Professionalism, empathy, and a patient-first mindset
Work Environment & Schedule
This role is based in a collaborative primary care clinic with a strong team culture focused on quality outpatient care. Schedules fall Monday through Friday with daytime shifts and a lunch break included. Flexibility is appreciated, and occasional assignments at other clinic locations may occur with advance notice. Clinical staff wear professional medical attire appropriate for a primary care setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windham, CT.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $21.00/hr.
