Why You'll Love This Opportunity Monday-Friday scheduleNo weekends or major holidaysConsistent 40-hour work weekDedicated administrative day each weekWork alongside a supportive provider teamOn-site phlebotomist so you can focus on core MA responsibilitiesCareer advancement opportunities into Clinical Lead and Office Management rolesPositive and respectful workplace cultureEmployee recognition and bonus opportunities401(k) match and PTOFrequent complimentary lunches and team events Schedule Monday-Friday7:30 AM - 4:00 PMUninterrupted 30-minute lunch break What You'll Do Room patients and prepare them for provider visitsObtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergiesReview charts to ensure lab and diagnostic results are available prior to appointmentsAssist providers with clinical and administrative workflowsProcess prescription refill requests according to provider protocolsFollow up with patients regarding lab results, testing, and provider instructionsMaintain exam rooms and ensure supplies are fully stockedUtilize Athena EMR and other electronic medical record systems to document patient informationRespond to patient portal messages and assist with chart preparationCollaborate with providers and fellow Medical Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care Qualifications 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting preferredExperience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatricsProficiency with EMR systems such as Athena, Epic, or similar platformsStrong communication and patient service skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environmentKnowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows Preferred Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), RMA, EMT, LPN, or other clinical certificationCPR certificationExperience working with Medicare and geriatric patient populationsInterest in leadership and long-term career growth Work Environment This is a well-established primary care clinic located within a larger medical building in Woodstock. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodstock, GA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
